Mission Statement

The Lawton Municipal Court handles criminal and traffic misdemeanor offenses that are in violation of city ordinances. We act as custodian of departmental documents, records and legal publications as well as establish and maintain filing systems. We are responsible for reviewing and/or entering uniform complaints and identification information, as listed by police computer records, for accuracy and completion. Another function of the municipal court is the scheduling and preparing of court dockets, trials and various hearings, both criminal and administrative in nature. Mr. Nathan Johnson serves as Municipal Court Judge and Jillian Allison is Municipal Court Clerk.

If you were/are docketed for a court appearance, at any time, between the dates of Tuesday, March 17, 2020 through Friday, May 15, 2020, please contact the Court at (580) 581-3265 for information and your new appearance date/time.
