Dustin Dye

Det. Dustin Dye was born and raised in Southwest Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Elgin Public Schools, and he attended OSU /OKC and graduated with his Associates Degree in Municipal Fire Protection. Det. Dye has always had a passion to serve his community as a police officer. Det. Dye started his career in law enforcement when he was 21 years old. He first served on the Chickasha Police Department in 2009 as a patrol officer. In 2010, he was hired on the Lawton Police Department. Det. Dye was a patrol officer for 6 years and utilized as a Field-Training Officer. In 2016, Det. Dye was transferred to the Community Oriented Police Division where he specialized in crime prevention and education for the citizens and businesses of Lawton. Throughout Det. Dye’s career, he has attended multiple schools and trainings to contribute to his law enforcement career. Det. Dye is a CLEET certified instructor, attended John E. Reid advanced interview and interrogation school, background investigator school, and he obtained his Advanced CLEET certification. Det. Dye currently serves as the Internal Affairs Investigator and the Crime Stoppers Investigator.
