Jeffery Pollard

Lieutenant Jeff Pollard was raised and graduated High School in Ft. Worth Texas. He has been on the department since August 2005. Since joining the department, Pollard has been assigned to Patrol to include being an FTO, Gang Unit. Pollard was then selected for the Criminal Investigations Division with People Crimes to include being a homicide investigator. Pollard was on the department's Bike Patrol, Meritorious Awards Committee, an officer and supervisor on the Emergency Response Team. Pollard holds a Basic Instructor Certification, and Advanced Peace Officer Certification from CLEET, and a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Cameron University. Pollard was named LPD Uniformed Officer of the Year in 2011 and 2015. Pollard was promoted to Lieutenant in October 2020 to Bravo Team and is currently assigned to Echo Team.
