Lt. Jeremy Coe was born and raised right here in Lawton, Oklahoma. Jeremy Coe has been married to Talitha Coe for almost 19 years and has one son, Paul.
Lt. Coe started his law enforcement career as a Lawton Police Explorer Post 112 when he was a teenager.
Lt. Coe was hired as an intern correctional officer for the Pottawatomie Sheriff’s Office, in Shawnee, Oklahoma,in August of 2001.
Lt Coe then moved back home and got a job at the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office. Coe was transferred to the Comanche County Detention Center in 2003, and became a shift Sergeant.
Lt. Coe became a Reserved Deputy for the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office and attended the Oklahoma CLEET Academy. Lt. Coe graduated in 2004.
In November of 2005, Lt. Coe got his dream career as a Lawton Police Officer. Lt. Coe has been assigned to the patrol division for the past 16 ½ years.
Lt. Coe’s greatest accomplishment has been his dedication to the department’s history. Lt. Coe tracked down Lawton’s heroes that were killed in the line of duty. Lt. Coe was able to track down where they are buried and had headstones placed on their resting place, to honor their sacrifice to the citizen’s of Lawton.
Lt Coe looks forward to continuing his dedication and service to the Lawton Community, and to his fellow officers.
