Joseph Painter

Mr. Joe Painter was named City Engineer for the City of Lawton in 2020. He has worked in the civil engineering community throughout the State of Oklahoma for the past 35 plus years. He is a graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BS in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Oklahoma. His project expertise includes Wetland Mitigation & Monitoring; Roadway & Bridge Structural Design; Municipal Planning; Subdivision Development; Commercial Site Development; Water Resources; Municipal Water Supply Pump Stations, Distribution & Treatment; Storm-water Management and Wastewater Lift Stations, Collection & Treatment. He has served under three different Mayors as the Mayor’s Representative on the City of Oklahoma City Professional Liaison Committee. He also has served his community as an Oklahoma County Reserve Deputy Sheriff and hopes to continue serving with the Comanche County Sheriff Department.
