Complete Count Committee Meeting - CENSUS 2020

The U.S. Census proportionally allocates funding for more than 130 federal programs including Medicaid, Housing and CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) funding, school lunch programs and highway funding. Information provided through the upcoming 2020 Census will dictate such federal funding allocations for the City of Lawton for the next 10 years; participation from citizens is imperative for the sustainability of critical programs within the community.

The Census count will take place 3/23/20 through 4/1/20. The public is invited to take part in the upcoming Complete Count Committee meeting (5:30 to 6:30 p.m. 2/26/20) to brainstorm ideas and strategies to make sure everyone is counted in the Lawton community.
