The City of Lawton Stormwater Management Division is hosting a rain harvesting drive-through workshop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. October 29 at Elmer Thomas Park near the Holiday House.

Barrels and cisterns provide a cost effective alternative to using tap water for watering yards and reduce stormwater runoff. All participants that purchase a barrel or cistern will receive step-by-step instructions on how to build and install a rain harvesting system.

  • 55 gallon barrel - $20
  • 250 gallon cistern - $50

Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first come first served basis. No pre-orders or reserves will be accepted.

Limit 1 barrel or cistern per participant./address
