The Lawton Municipal Court handles criminal and traffic misdemeanor offenses that are in violation of city ordinances. We act as custodian of departmental documents, records and legal publications as well as establish and maintain filing systems. We are responsible for reviewing and/or entering uniform complaints and identification information, as listed by police computer records, for accuracy and completion. Another function of the Municipal Court is the scheduling and preparing of court dockets, trials and various hearings, both criminal and administrative in nature. Jillian Allison serves as Municipal Court Director and Nathan Johnson as Municipal Court Judge.

If you are scheduled for a court appearance, please appear on that date and time only. Please DO NOT bring any unnecessary persons to your court appearance.

Certain citations issued by the Lawton Police Department can be paid online or by phone with a convenience fee.
Payments will be reviewed during court business hours and your online payment may therefore take between 72 and 96 hours before being processed and approved/rejected by the Court.
Credit Card Convenience Fee: 2.75 % (of subtotal)
Note: a minimum charge of $0.95 will be applied.
Municipal Online Payments Fee (Credit Card): $0.00
There is a $2.50 per transaction charge associated with an IVR payment that has been configured to charge the defendant. Also a Service Fee of 2.75% that also charges the Defendants. This setup mirrors your Court Online payments. IVR will have the same rules as online payments, If the citation is not allow to be paid online, then the IVR payment is also not going to be available to pay online.
