Mission Statement

The Sewer System Technical Division was established in 1998 as part of the 21 year, $62 million (1996 estimated value) Sewer System Rehabilitation Program. The program has 3 phases. Phase I & II are complete and the program is in Phase III.

The Sewer Rehabilitation Program has been a huge success saving residents millions and has reduced inflow and infiltration into the sewer collection system by 60%!

The purpose of the SSTD Division is to design projects for the Sewer Construction Division. This engineering team also updates and maintains the sewer atlas and designs sewer projects that are contracted out to construction companies such as sewer lining, boring and emergency repair projects. The SSTD Division also provides project inspection and management for these projects.
