Assistant Chief Rondell Seratte began his career in Law Enforcement in 1993 before joining the Lawton Police Department in January of 2000. He has been assigned to the Uniform Division as a patrol officer and Field Training Officer. He was assigned to the Special Operations Section in 2005 as a Detective until promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in September of 2007. Seratte was assigned to the Training Division in 2013 as the commander, where he was responsible for all of the departments training as well as overseeing the basic academies. In 2015 Seratte was promoted to Captain and moved back to the Uniform Division as a Watch Commander and Honor Guard Commander. In 2020 Seratte was promoted to Assistant Chief of Police, where he currently serves as the Non-Uniform Division Commander over Criminal Investigations, Corrections, Records and Animal Welfare.
Assistant Chief Seratte is a department instructor in Defensive Tactics, Law Enforcement Drivers Training, Bicycle Patrol and assists with the departments Police Academy physical training program. Seratte holds an Advanced Police Officer Certification from CLEET as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and is a graduate of the 147th Southern Police Institutes Administrative Officers Course.
