Cindy Augustine receives Employee Spotlight Award

During Tuesday’s City Council meeting, City Manager Michael Cleghorn presented Cindy Augustine, real property administrator, the Employee Spotlight Award for her work ethic and aptitude for asking questions.

Augustine found funds totaling $200,000 owed to the City of Lawton from the County that had never been received. Her work resulted in the check being issued to the City.

Although Augustine works in legal, she receives calls daily from almost all City departments for issues, even those that are not property related.

“Cindy never hesitates to help another department,” Cleghorn said. “She educates other departments to help broaden their skill sets. We are very thankful to have Ms. Augustine as part of our team.”
