Finance Director Position open at City of Lawton

17 July 2019

The City of Lawton wishes a happy farewell to Diane Branstetter, who has submitted a letter of resignation as Director of Finance. Her last day will be Aug. 23, 2019.

Branstetter joined the City of Lawton in August 2018, after retiring from Lawton Public Schools. Under her leadership, Lawton City Council passed a progressive $99 million operating budget for FY 2019/20 and received the topmost “unmodified” opinion on its annual audit.

“Diane’s dedication to her craft and her dedication to transparency and accountability was an asset to the City of Lawton,” said City Manager Michael Cleghorn. “We wish her the very best moving forward.”

Requirements for the Finance Director position are now listed on the Careers Page at and applications are being accepted. For more information, call the Office of Human Resources at 580.581.3392.
