The Lawton Police Department is currently accepting applications for police officers. Applications are available at the Great Plains Technology Center, 4500 SW Blvd, Building 900, in Lawton.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be between the ages of 21 to 45 at time of application
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have no criminal misdemeanor convictions in the last three years
  • Must have no felony convictions
  • Prior military must submit DD214
  • Candidates must complete an obstacle course in 80 seconds or less followed by a written exam
