Library to Host Scrabble Competition

The Lawton Public Library is hosting its annual Scrabble® Competition on Jan. 22. The library will have one Super Scrabble Saturday with three games. Start times are 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Check-in for each game is five to 15 minutes before start time. Participants may attend one or all three rounds. The games will take place at the main library, located at 110 SW 4th Street. There is no charge to participate.

The competition is open to all ages and all levels, but participants must be able to play independently. Participants can play as many or as few games as they like but the grand prize is based on cumulative scores from all three rounds. Opponents will change for each round. 

Light refreshments will be served. Pre-registration is not required, but space is limited.
