Recognizing Code Compliance Month in Lawton

During Tuesday’s Lawton City Council Meeting, the Community Services team accepted a proclamation recognizing National Code Compliance Month in October.

Code Enforcement Officers provide for the safety and welfare of citizens through the enforcement of local codes and ordinances that face various issues. They are dedicated to improving the living and working conditions for residents and businesses in our community. 

Code Compliance Month encourages municipalities and communities to join in recognizing the dedication and service of the individuals who serve as Code Enforcement Officers.
