Sweet Temptationz Car Club named November Citizens of the Month

At Tuesday's City Council meeting, the Sweet Temptationz Car Club received the Citizens of the Month title for November 2023.

The City of Lawton takes great pride in celebrating its outstanding citizens whose selfless contributions have significantly enriched our community.

Richard Small and the entire Sweet Temptationz Car Club have demonstrated unparalleled dedication to community service, earning them the esteemed title of Citizens of the Month.

The Sweet Temptationz Car Club, under the guidance of Richard Small, has become a beacon of altruism, organizing three to four major car shows lasting two to three days and four to six minor car shows lasting one day annually, with all proceeds benefiting local charities and organizations.

Their mission is to invest in the community and to do for others what they can’t do for themselves. They oversee every aspect of the car shows yet give the proceeds to various organizations.

The collective efforts of Sweet Temptationz Car Club have resulted in an annual reinvestment of approximately $64,000 into our community, showcasing their commitment to fostering positive change.
