2017 International Festival Poster Contest Winners Announced

(Lawton, OK) The International Festival Committee, a Lawton Arts & Humanities Council subcommittee, sponsors an annual poster design competition to select the artwork that best represents the festival’s mission. The colorful design is used on the International Festival poster, festival brochure, t-shirt, and other marketing materials. The International Festival Committee is pleased to announce winners for this year’s competition.

Madeleine Emerson of Lawton created the overall winning concept. Design entries are currently on display in the lobby of McMahon Memorial Auditorium. The festival will be held on September 22, 23, and 24 in Elmer Thomas Park. Early September, free posters will be available at the Arts & Humanities Division Office located on the west side of McMahon Memorial Auditorium, 801 NW Ferris Avenue, office hours are 8 am-12noon and 1-5pm, Monday–Friday. At the festival, free festival brochures with Madeleine Emerson’s design will be available and T-shirts can be purchased at the Information Booth.
