City Employees Honored for Years of Service, Citizens of the Month Named

At the top of the Feb. 22 regular Lawton City Council meeting, City Manager Michael Cleghorn honored three city employees with the Oklahoma Municipal League's Service Awards for 25 years of service. Awardees include Virgil Todd with Solid Waste Collection, Robert Howard with Solid Waste Collection and Thierry Shroeder with Wastewater Collection.

Also, Mayor Stan Booker and members of the Mayors Commission on the Status of Women recognized the Oklahoma Dental Hygienists' Association as Citizens of the Month for February 2022. Click here to read the proclamation.
