Cooling Center opens to public July 19

Comanche County Emergency Management and Red Cross will be opening a Cooling Center on July 19 to assist citizens with the extreme heat.

Tuesday will present Excessive Heat Warning with temperatures over 112 degrees that may adversely effect our vulnerable populations without air conditioning.  

Lawton First Baptist Church will open their doors at 10 a.m. until dark.

Lawton Fire will provide EMTs for any medical needs and Lawton Police to provide security.
