Holiday in the Park 2017
The 2017 Holiday in the Park timeline begins with "Fishing for Food" at 7 a.m. at Lake Helen in Elmer Thomas Park, 2nd and Ferris. Holiday in the Park is co-sponsoring this event to assist Lawton Food Bank in gathering the food needed for our community and Holiday in the Park will continue the spirit of giving for the Lawton Food Bank that evening at the Holiday House area where donations will continue to be received for turkeys non-perishable goods. These items to the Lawton Food Bank will give the folks in our community a better holiday.
You are invited as a Holiday in the Park sponsor/vendor to promote and fundraise for the Holiday in the Park on Nov. 18, 2017 by participating in setting up a booth for your business or organization for a simple booth fee of $50 for Parade Night. The "Christmas Toys" -themed parade starts at 6 p.m. in downtown Lawton (line up is at 2nd and C) and will end in Elmer Thomas Park. Set up for the lighting of the Christmas Tree will be between 8 and 8:30 p.m. There will be pre-parade activities to include face painting, senior's seniors "Pop UP Shop" and bounce houses.
