The City of Lawton would like to congratulate the Junior League of Lawton for 75 years in our community!
Mayor Stan Booker issued the Junior League a proclamation, recognizing November 15, 2022 as the Junior League of Lawton’s 75th Anniversary.
The organization was founded in October 1947 and since then, has donated in excess of $2 million and has volunteered more than 100,000 hours in the Lawton Community.
The Junior League of Lawton currently focuses on partnerships with other nonprofit organizations related to developing women and children, including Marie Detty Parker Pointe Group Home, Marie Detty New Directions Domestic Violence Shelter, Pat Henry Elementary School, the Lawton Food Bank, and the newly forming Diaper Bank.
