Library Presents Summer @ the Library Activities

library logo

Summer @ the Library is an annual event offering kids, teens, and adults an opportunity to read, win prizes and prevent “the summer slide.” The 2022 theme is Oceans of Possibilities, and the library will have different ocean animal photo props each week for everyone to take fun pictures with.

Readers can register anytime from June 1 – July 31 at or download the Beanstack app in the iTunes or Google Play store. There are reading programs for all ages: kids, teens and adults. All programs are free of charge and a library card is not required to participate.

Participants will also have the opportunity to attend various summer activities, including story time at Elmer Thomas Park and performances from Extreme Animals. Stop by the library to pick up a handout with a full list of activities or visit

For more information, contact Tanya Organ, Community Engagement Librarian, at 580-581-3450 ext. 1711, or by email at @email.
