Library Winter Break Activities
The Lawton Public Library will offer several activities to keep kids busy during winter break. The library will host two Crafternoons ages 3-18. From 2-2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, kids can make a pony bead ornament. And from 2-2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, kids can make a stained glass snowmen.
If kids need a quick and free gift for the holiday, they can attend a Candle Making Class from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21. Kids ages 8-18 are welcome to attend. Space is limited, but registration is not required.
Join the library for a Movie Pajama Party at 2 p.m. Dec. 23. Attendees are encouraged to wear their pajamas and watch the movie “Elf.”
Ring in the “Noon” Year with stories, crafts, and a countdown to noon. The library’s Noon Year’s Eve Party will take place from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Dec. 30. Kids ages 3-10 and caregivers are invited to join.
Teens will be creating their 2022 Vision Board with their goals for the new year from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 from. Ages 12-18 are welcome. Space and supplies are limited.
