PUBLISHED 7/13/20

Beginning 7/15/20, masks or face shields will be mandatory for anyone age 3 and older entering an indoor City of Lawton facility. Such facilities include, but are not limited to, Lawton City Hall, the Lawton Police Department, all fire stations, City-managed recreational facilities and the City Hall Annex.

Masks or face shields must cover the mouth and nose area of a person. Exceptions will be made for those with applicable medical conditions; documentation of the necessity for exemption, signed by a physician, must be provided. Exceptions for certain indoor rentals that may include food or beverage, which are currently approved on a case-bycase basis due to the health pandemic, may be granted by City Management.

Citizens seeking guidance concerning cloth masks may visit cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/about-facecoverings.html

Signage will be placed at given facilities. Citizens are still encouraged to conduct business digitally or by phone if possible. Contact information for all City departments can be found at lawtonok.gov.

Thank you.
