November's Outstanding Citizen of the Month: Vincent Mesco

During Tuesday’s City Council meeting, the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women brought forth an Outstanding Citizen of Comanche County.

Vincent Mesco is recognized for his outstanding service to the Salvation Army. He spends about 12 hours a month, volunteering his time to help with the homeless shelter, bringing a friendly smile and a warm, welcoming spirit to those utilizing the shelter.

He welcomes people in, serves them food & helps clean up the dining area. In addition to his work with the Salvation Army, he also volunteers with other non-profits in Lawton.

Mayor Booker presented Mesco a Certificate of Recognition for this work. Keep it up, Vincent! We are so proud of you!
