At the City Council meeting on October 10, the Acting City Manager John Ratliff presented the True North Award to Reagan Williams, the Arts & Humanities Administrative Assistant, for her outstanding work on the International Festival.
Jason Poudrier, the Arts & Humanities Administrator, praised Reagan's performance. He highlighted that within two months of assuming the position, she efficiently handled applications for vendors, food, sales, and displays, and provided valuable assistance to numerous performers.
Reagan demonstrated exceptional communication skills and impeccable organizational abilities. She devoted long hours to her work with a cheerful disposition and took the initiative to address tasks proactively.
"When we talk about citizen first with the True North Culture Statement, Reagan Williams is definitely citizen first," Poudrier said. "The International Festival is for the citizens of Lawton, and that is who Reagan Williams served and she did an exceptional job."
