Second town hall with Westwin Elements set for Dec. 4

The Lawton Economic Development Authority, Comanche County Industrial Development Authority, Lawton Economic Development Corporation and the City of Lawton are hosting a second town hall meeting with Westwin Elements on December 4, 2023 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the McMahon Memorial Auditorium.

This is another chance to meet with local officials and Westwin Elements administration to learn more about the nickel pilot refinery being constructed in the west side industrial park.

The second town hall will be structured slightly differently than the first. In an effort to cut down on the repetitiveness of questions, citizens are asked to submit questions beforehand to @email.

During the last 30 minutes of the town hall, citizens will be able to ask additional questions that were not discussed prior. There will also be a designated person in the audience taking questions from citizens to relay to officials on stage. All questions submitted to the email address listed above, along with any day-of questions will be answered.

The meeting is open to the public.
