Summer @ the Library

2017 SUMMER READING PROGRAM “BUILD A BETTER WORLD” IS HERE AT THE LAWTON PUBLIC LIBRARY.
Registration for “Build a Better World” kicks off on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. All programs are free of charge and a library card is not required to participate. Reading logs may be picked up any time before July 31 at either library location.
There are reading programs for all ages: children, teens, and adults. Participants can read all summer and attend fun activities and earn prizes for completing the programs.
Don’t miss out on all the fun this summer, stop by and visit us at the library and pick up a handout with a list of the activities and events.
This year we have an added incentive. If 500 children COMPLETE the reading program, all names will be entered in a drawing for 1 of 5 chances to throw a pie in the Youth Services Librarian’s face.
Our goal is to Build a Better World by providing resources and experiences to bridge the summer gap, while inspiring literacy and life-long learning.
