Lawton’s 2019 International Festival Poster Contest Winners Announced

(Lawton, OK) The International Festival Committee, a Lawton Arts & Humanities Council subcommittee, sponsors an annual poster design competition to select the artwork that best represents the festival’s mission.  The colorful design will be used on the International Festival poster, festival brochure, and other marketing materials.  The International Festival Committee is pleased to announce winners for this year’s competition.

Sherri Denning of Lawton created the overall winning concept. Design entries are currently on display in the lobby of McMahon Memorial Auditorium. The festival dates are September 27, 28, and 29 in Elmer Thomas Park. Early September, free posters will be available at the Arts & Humanities Division Office located on the west side of McMahon Memorial Auditorium, 801 NW Ferris Avenue, office hours are 8am-12noon and 1-5pm, Monday–Friday.  At the festival, free festival brochures with Sherri Denning’s design will be available.  Call the Arts & Humanities Division at 580-581-3470 or 581-3471 for more information.
