Owens Center, Renovation Project for Restrooms
Details
The Office of Housing & Community Developed announced 12/2/2020 that the renovation project of the public restrooms at the Owens Multipurpose Center has been completed. This project was funded with CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) funds to improve the ADA access and functionality of the restrooms. Special thanks is owed to the ADA Committee and Mike Jones, ADA Coordinator, for their help in funding an expected change order when during construction a metal pole was discovered in the concrete block wall. Earlier in 2020, a concrete ADA ramp was also installed in front of the building and also funded with CDBG funds. Attached are some before and after photos of the renovation project of public restrooms.
